.After the construction of the stone-built temple, Lord was installed there. But there was no Mukhasala (Entrance Hall). A saint named Darshan Das made the Mukhasala afterward.

.Later, by govt initiative today's Bhoga Mandap near the temple along with the present temple office was built. The P.W.D road from Bhadrak to Aradi was declared State Highway and was converted into all weather Road instead of fare weather road. A Pantha Nivas was built at Aradi by Tourism Dept., Govt. of Odisha. The Govt. of Odisha sanctioned a handsome amount for the temple.

.Subsiquently Special Planning Authority , Bhadrak took up Special Planing for development of Aradi Devasthan. Initially its cost was 7 crores and now it is revised and the cost rose to 20 crores.Though planning for its improvement has been satisfactory its execution has not been so encouraging for pauceity of funds. Yet it requires special attention of wealthy devotees for its development.

.Various relevant documents indicate that the present pucca temple was constructed after 1839 AD.
.Following arguments are being advocated in support of the above assertion.
I.. According to legend, Satyabhama, queen of Harihar Bhanja Deo, the then king of Kanika built the present pucca temple.
II..Temple Authority possesses a “CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF GOVT. DEED, and the “BHUIAN MAP” issued by the then Deputy Collector Balasore on 11.09.1911. According to the  certified copy “AKHANDALAMANI temple was a wooden temple in 1839 AD.”
.This TRUE COPY demonstrates that a survey was conducted in 1839 and surveyor reported to the British authority that Akhandalmani Temple wasa  wooden Temple then.
. Taking into account the views of legend ,the history of Kanika and certified copy of Govt. deed, following logical conclusions may be drawn in this regard.

. The deed/ certified copy of “BHUIAN MAP” or surveyor report cannot be challenged or disputed. It is clear from the above reference that Akhandalmani Temple was a wooden temple in 1839. The present pucca temple was constructed after 1839 and not before 1839.

.But legend declares that the temple was built by Harihar Bhanja. If the views of legend are taken for granted and are compared with the history of Kanika along with the certified copy of Government deed, it is easy to arrive at the conclusion that Satyabhama, wife of Harihar Bhanja built the temple after 1839.
